MalikChildish is a brand created by me, Malik. It represents my personal commitment to staying connected to the truest version of myself. It began as a PlayStation account, evolved into a YouTube channel, and now marks my second merchandise and artisic release under the brand name MalikChildish.

The goal of this brand is to remind people to maintain their youthful spirit, pursue what they enjoy in life, and stay curious. 

But wait? Then who is Malik Allen? 

Every good author has a pen name, right? While Malik Allen is my real name, it's not my full name, and I've been using it as a pen name since 2019 when I released my first poetry collection. I always felt that my art should be separate from my personal life because I wanted to eliminate any preconceived notions about me and have people take my work seriously.

This isn't about who you know; it's about the art you're supporting. Now, I think it's kind of cool that people only know me as Malik Allen because it means they recognize my artwork and the contributions I’ve made to the world.

But really, who is Malik? 

I was born in Dayton, Ohio, and I currently live in Cincinnati with my wife and our dog, West. Basketball was a significant part of my life, which ultimately led me to graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing in 2018. My degree has allowed me to work in various industries, including real estate, food, clothing, music, and sports, where I have developed growth marketing campaigns aimed at increasing revenue and brand awareness.

I have enjoyed my career and credit it for enabling me to achieve many things outside of work. I love to do new things, and constantly try new things for fun to push myself. I went a long time trying to find myself in what it is I enjoy in this life outside of basketball, and I was very happy to find out I enjoy a lot things, and that's because I try a lot of things.
